Latest Update

Hey everyone!

Long time, no see!

I've been fighting the whole concept and dedication to writing a blog but then I find myself wanting to rant online to you all...so here I am...again!

Life for me has changed quite drastically since the last time I posted on here. Some of you may know I went through four out of the five top life stressors all at the same time starting in February...and some extra horribly-abnormal experiences most people don't have. It was quite insane. As a matter of safety and for my own sanity, I moved up north to Traverse City! I freaking love it up here! There is something special and healing about the energy here...and I find it more than ironic that a lot of the people who move here are looking for healing as well, or are healers themselves. We also have the highest amount of authors per capita. It is gorgeous but also very expensive to live in T.C. ...but the pay is usually terrible and it's hard to thrive unless you have your own successful business, etc. They call it "God's Country"...and the running joke in response to that statement is, "because only God himself can afford to live here!" But when you're up on the peninsula at the scenic lookout, you can see where they came up with "God's Country". It is truly stunning and something I'm very proud of for our beautiful state.

(I just remembered that crazy marketing campaign that Wisconsin tried to pull by claiming their state was shaped like a mitten a few years back...ha ha ha! Hilarious! Michiganders were ready to go to war...I'm not kidding.)

I have so many thoughts each day, continuously, it's hard to shut my brain off let alone catalog these ideas and concepts into a blog...or an action and do it! I think that's what they call A.D.D. ;) But I have so many thoughts I'd like to share, and is reason why my Youtube channel (Seharris11 and MichiganPRA) are so discombobulated. For example, I want to talk about how parenting has become a lost art, how everything is over-sexualized, how out of touch with reality we are and what is actually important in life, spirituality, the paranormal, how we affect our environment and the animals, consumerism, natural and alternative medicine you can do on your own, how Western medicine is behind in a mind/body/soul approach, growing your own garden, how silly my Bulldogs are, how porn is causing wide-spread E.D. in our youth, etc. I could go on and on!

But I think these topics touch on a lot of concerns and thoughts other people have. Things seem a bit dire and desperate these days (at least in America/Michigan) with the corruption with Big Pharma, Big Brother, Industrialized farming, our crappy economy, the cost of living, etc. I see a lot of people struggling and in numerous ways....struggling to live their life outside of the 9-5 because I think everyone knows deep down inside that it is unnatural, that bills and savings really are trivial in the end when we die, and yet we are a "slave to money, then you die" as The Verve sang:

"Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life
Try to make ends meet
You're a slave to money then you die
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
You know the one that takes you to the places
where all the veins meet yeah"

I think the road where all the veins meet is honestly the spiritual life, or the spiritual path. Spirit and the spiritual connect and make sense out of all the other parts of our life, all the other paths and experiences we have. We can understand why we experience certain pains, joys, lessons, and more down here on "planet number three", through the spiritual lens. To me, putting religion aside, knowing there is life after death gives purpose to our existence here on Earth. It is like our other half of our life. And according to many of the mediums, psychics, and people who have had NDE's and OBE's (near death experiences and out of body experiences), apparently we CHOOSE to experience certain karmic life lessons while we are down here before we are born and incarnate. We choose the significant events to further evolve our souls. This is a concept that rings true to my soul because it plays off the idea of freedom of choice (which is what humans want and supposedly asked for) and that God isn't at fault for all the atrocities down here that we see. I always get upset and saddened when I hear people blame the Creator for their misgivings, traumas, downfalls, and so on. So really, in this theory, we are truly the captains of our lives...we can choose what to experience down here, what souls we will incarnate with in our family, etc.

We may not remember these supposed "choices" (because we would behave differently and not learn), but I want to remember a choice that you have daily: We can also choose each day how we're going to live our life and the actions we will take. They say about 80-90% of your happiness is under your control...and only 10-20% is dictated by outside and external factors like other people. Bhuddist monks who were prisoners of war for years, practiced happiness during their captivity and torture, and it is what also saved their lives in the end. Many of the other prisoners died, but not the monks that knew how to meditate and practice happiness. Happiness is a "practice", so make sure you cultivate it. It does not come from other people, although they can make us feel happy...happiness is something that we generate, tend to, and grow. Or we can let it shrivel and die, rely on other people to make us feel happy and secure, become codependent and unevolved, etc.

Remove negative and toxic people from your life, find something you love and turn it into a business or career, listen to music that vibrates with positivity, respect your body through exercise and healthy organic food, meditate, and so on.

That's all for today folks! :)

P.S. I just learned the other day that if you have real plants growing in your work space or office, there is a 20% increase in productivity that scientists have found. :)

Facebook status/personal life update: "Slowly recovering from last night's festivities lol. Yesterday had some weird events though. Found out my tree guy who I've been waiting on for over a month is writing bad checks so his worker suggested I hire a different guy, then I go to drop off my electrician's tools that he left and meet him at meijer...a car flies up out of nowhere, a squabble happens and I watch as my electrician denies his identity and gets served by a county processor. She screams "you've been served!!" And she peels off. I make a weird frowny face and get back in the car and go home...it was enough drama for me lol. I felt like I was part of a setup or sting Lesson for all: try to obey the law and try to be a good citizen and you can avoid most trouble lol. Easy enough."
